The weekend of June 6th 2014 may be the last time that a significant number of veterans who stormed the beaches in Normandy to liberate France and end World War II, will be able to be present. President Obama, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden, and many heads of state are expected to join the 14,000 People who will attend the event.

As a special contribution, Helen Patton, Granddaughter of General Patton, has been requested to make a statement of forgiveness and reconciliation by inaugurating „The PATTON Concerts“.
